About the Role 

Converged Medical Solutions is a growing managed IT and cybersecurity business based in Bella Vista. We're looking for a highly organised, reliable and detail-focused Accounts Officer to join our Finance team and take ownership of day-to-day accounts functions. 

This is a full-time, office-based role working standard business hours. It will suit someone who has worked in a small to medium business and is comfortable managing both sides of the ledger. You'll be expected to take full ownership of the role but never left to figure things out alone. The Financial Controller, who you'll report to, is invested in your growth and will provide a detailed handover on commencement to set you up for success. 

What You'll Be Doing 

  • Accounts Payable. Process supplier invoices, complete purchase order matching, reconcile supplier statements and support weekly payment runs 

  • Accounts Receivable. Process daily and monthly sales invoicing, allocate customer payments, reconcile customer accounts and assist with proactive debtor management. 

  • Credit Control & Customer Support. Follow up overdue accounts, assist with client queries and escalate issues where required. 

  • Banking & Reconciliations. Reconcile bank transactions daily and support month-end finance processes. 

  • Stakeholder Communication. Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers and internal team members to resolve queries and keep processes moving. 

  • Inbox Management. Monitor and manage a busy accounts inbox, ensuring every stakeholder receives a prompt and professional response. 

  • Finance Team Support. Work closely with the Financial Controller and contribute to accurate reporting, continuous improvement and reliable finance administration. 

 

What We're Looking For 

  • Hands-on Xero experience 

  • Minimum 2 years' accounts experience within a small to medium business environment 

  • Ability to manage repetitive, process-driven work while maintaining quality and focus 

  • Ability to communicate professionally with all stakeholders 

  • Comfortable keeping on top of multiple queries, with a prompt and professional approach to stakeholder communication 

  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload 

 

Nice to Have 

  • Experience in an IT, technology, or professional services business 

  • Familiarity with Autotask or other PSA/ERP platforms 

  • Cert IV in Accounting or Bookkeeping (or working towards it) 

 

What We Offer 

  • $65,000 – $70,000 + super, based on experience 

  • Office-based role in Bella Vista NSW, with potential for one work-from-home day per week after successfully completing your 6-month probation period
