About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy across our associated entities. You will lead a team of data processors, oversee financial reconciliations, and contribute to financial reporting, all while ensuring compliance and efficiency. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on responsibility, takes initiative, and enjoys applying their expertise to improve processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Data Oversight: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data entry and processing.

  • Account Reconciliation: Conduct and review reconciliations of accounts payable and receivable, resolving discrepancies with precision.

  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements and reports in line with company policies.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and support a team of data processors, providing guidance and ensuring workflow efficiency.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal teams to address financial inquiries and provide insights.

  • Finance Operations Support: Assist with audits, financial analysis, and other accounting functions as required.


About You

With at least 3-5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance, you take pride in your accuracy, efficiency, and ability to lead. You will bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • A sharp eye for detail and a strong analytical mindset.

  • The ability to work independently while leading and mentoring a team.

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Xero is a plus.

  • A problem-solving attitude with a proactive and organised approach.

  • Experience within hospitality or retail preferred but not mandatory
