Warehouse Pick Packer

We are a Foodservice & Dairy Distributor, with depots located in Ipswich, Kingaroy, Coolum and Gold Coast. We are looking to fill a position based out of our Ipswich depot. The advertised position is for Casual Warehouse Pick Packer/Despatch Employee who can start immediately.

 Your duties will include but aren't limited to:

• Pick & pack customer orders accurately using Voice Picking headsets / scanners - Aim to achieve 100% accuracy KPIs

• Load trucks in a timely manner to ensure all customers receive deliveries in full and on time whilst following the correct processes

• Work evenings / nights with start times around 2:30pm to 10:30pm from Sunday to Thursday

• Work in a cold-room environment

• Cleaning and maintaining equipment / depot

• Operating MHE equipment such as Pallet Jacks

• Handle products with due care at all times

• Check products for leaks and damages

• Maintain good communication and a good working relationship with all co-workers

• Maintain HACCP & FSQ (Food Safety Quality) standards

• Maintain WHS safe and healthy work practices

• Ensure all company equipment and facilities are correctly maintained

For this role you require:

• Ideally you will have picking/packing experience using Voice Picking headsets and RF scanners

• To be reliable

• Candidates should be physically fit as there is repetitive manual lifting involved in performing this role

• A good work ethic, who values honesty

• Able to move quickly as our warehouse is fast paced 

• Ability to work in a cold room and during the night
