About the practice

The Suites at Wickham House is a psychology, psychiatry and psychotherapy practice based in the heart of Spring Hill. We work relationally and from a psychodynamically informed perspective, while offering a broad range of evidence-based therapy and assessment for adults and adolescents, across both shorter-term and longer-term work.

We are a boutique practice, not a high-volume one. Our clinicians have the time and support to think deeply about their patients, and we have built an environment, clinical and physical, that reflects that. Our rooms occupy a carefully restored heritage building, with separated reception and waiting areas in the analytic tradition, because we believe the space itself is part of the work. The work

You would carry your own caseload of adults, and adolescents if it suits you, across therapy and, if it is your interest, psychological assessment. There is genuine room here for the work you do best, whether that is focused, evidence-based intervention or longer-term relational and psychodynamic work. Clinicians with an interest in working alongside our consultant psychiatrists, or with experience in frontline, emergency services and other high-risk cohorts, will find a natural home, as will those building a strong general or assessment caseload.

• Registered with AHPRA as a Clinical or Registered Psychologist.

The opportunity

We offer both employment and contractor arrangements, with the flexibility to choose the days that suit you and to grow your practice over time. We are happy to talk openly about what would work best for you at first contact. As our practice grows, there may also be scope to shape your role across more than one setting.
