About the Role

We’re looking for a qualified Automotive Technician ready to step off the tools and join our Technical Assistance Centre (TAC) at Isuzu UTE Australia’s Head Office in Cannon Hill.

Use your diagnostic expertise to support our dealer network, providing expert technical guidance and advanced diagnostic support to dealers and internal teams. Play a key role in resolving complex issues, analysing field data, and contributing to ongoing product and service improvements.

This is an office based, technical role requiring strong diagnostic capability, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a close knit and hard-working team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide technical support and diagnostic guidance to dealer service departments and technicians.

• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues, including escalated cases.

• Analyse warranty and field data to identify trends and support root cause investigations.

• Prepare detailed technical reports and communicate findings with the manufacturer.

• Develop Service Bulletins and technical documentation.

• Support recall and service campaign activity, including monitoring countermeasures.

• Assist with diagnostic tooling updates and testing (e.g. G-IDSS).

• Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Relations, Parts, IT, Service) to improve product and service outcomes.

About You

• Qualified Automotive Technician (Cert III Light Vehicle or equivalent) with strong technical diagnostic capability.

• Proven experience in a technical or diagnostic role with strong mechanical and/or electrical diagnostic capability.

• Experience working with dealership service teams or networks.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex technical information.

• Experience using MS Office (particularly Excel).
