The Company
Our client is a leading business in their sector renowned for their market presence and high performance. They are now looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team in Head Office.
You'll work with a supportive team focused on service excellence while enjoying real ownership and responsibility. Head office is based in Southern Sydney, Kingsgrove, with lovely offices and a highly supportive leadership team make it a great place to work.
The Role
You will play a key part in supporting the accounts payable process, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and efficiently. You will have the opportunity to work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders, building strong relationships and contributing to the overall success of the finance team. You will undertake a range of operational activities associated with accounts payable.
This role is based 5 days a week in the Office.

- Manage supplier reconciliations, identify discrepancies in information supplied and/or missing information.
- Full function accounts payable (invoice processing, prepare and process supplier payments, reconciliations).
- Assist with month end closing activities.
- Support the accounts payable inbox and promptly respond to queries.
- Support process improvement.
The Candidate
The successful applicant will have/be:
- You will bring Accounts Payable experience.
- Strong commitment to detail, accuracy, and maintaining well-documented files and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in computer literacy, experience with ERP systems, MS Dynamics 365 desirable.
- A positive and professional team player.
