Management Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys analysing data, improving processes, and partnering with operations to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in managing product costing, inventory accounting, financial analysis, and supporting business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate product costing and cost analysis.
• Analyse manufacturing and operational costs, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Perform inventory reconciliations and support stocktake processes.
• Assist with month-end reporting, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare variance analysis and provide insights to management.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Develop and improve costing processes and internal controls.
• Partner with operational teams to improve efficiency and profitability.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA or CA qualification (completed or working towards) is highly regarded.
• Previous experience in a Cost Accountant or Management Accountant role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory accounting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
