Your new job includes

The Senior Sales Consultant plays an integral part in the team for supervising the delivery of customer service and product knowledge excellence across the team. The Senior Sales Consultant acts as an ambassador to Heinemann and the brands for which they represent. They must provide support, and direction to the team to develop selling tactics to maximize KPI growth and service improvement. The Senior Sales Consultant assists with the continuous development and improvement of the general operation of their department/brand. This includes both business and people processes and ways of working.

As a Senior Sales Consultant you will

• Supervises and develops a team of high performing Sales Consultants that provide exceptional customer service through communication, product knowledge and a willingness to go above and beyond to meet a customer’s needs

• Shows a positive attitude, energy and enthusiasm in all interactions

• Provides support and direction to the team of Sales Consultants

• Analyses and executes actions to develop/correct KPIs

• Effective management of data integrity and inventory flow (including but not limited to notepads and min/max escalation)

• Personally has, and develops a comprehensive understanding of product knowledge, best sellers, product features and benefits within the team

• Proactively ensures he/she is aware of any current promotions and additional services available for the customers (e.g. ready for collection). Promotes these offers/services to customers

• Achieves, monitors and encourages team results whilst communicating job expectations

• Coaching, mentoring and developing performance of team members, ensuring correct company procedures are followed

• Develops the Heinemann Brand Promises and values within the team

• Demonstrates an understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for all team members.

What you should bring along

• Previous experience within retail

• A passion for delivering an exceptional customer service experience

• Immaculate personal presentation

• Strong communication skills

• Multi-lingual advantageous, but not essential

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• AM and PM shifts availability are preferred
