Field Service Diesel Mechanic

SA Tractors is looking for a self motivated and driven qualified diesel mechanic/fitter to work in field service based from our Cavan workshop in Adelaide, South Australia.

SA Tractors is a locally owned and operated business and has been the Case Construction dealer for SA for over 17 years offering new and used machine sales, service and parts. The brands distributed by SA Tractors are: Case Construction, New Holland Agricultural, Sunward Excavators, Sunward PSR Crushing/Screening and Montabert Hydraulic Hammers.
 

About You

• Trade qualified,

• ideally with post-trade experience in mobile plant, including hydraulic and electrical knowledge.

• are able to work Independently

• Ideally from a quarrying, construction or agricultural background

• experience working on this type of machinery.

• We will consider candidates with a light vehicle, automotive background if they have at least 3 years experience in construction or agricultural mobile equipment.
   

About The Role

Working across construction, landscaping, agriculture and quarrying & mining, you would perform service and repairs across a broad range of machinery including fault finding, hydraulic & electrical repairs and servicing.  The main focus is on construction equipment but will include working on machines servicing the agricultural and quarrying industries.

Competitive wages plus superannuation are paid fortnightly with regular overtime paid at penalty rates of 1.5 times and 2 times hourly rate as applicable.
