Patching | Stock (incl. Forklift) | Casual Pickers – Spring Season

Available Roles

We are currently hiring across multiple production areas:

1. Patching Hand

• Working with young plants (planting, spacing, labelling)

• Detail-focused, quality-driven work

• Ideal for someone who enjoys careful, hands-on tasks

2. Stock Hand (Manual & Forklift Roles)

• Moving plant stock across the nursery

• Loading/unloading trolleys and trucks

• Forklift licence highly regarded (but not essential for all roles)

3. Casual Picker (Dispatch Team)

• Picking and preparing customer orders

• Working to deadlines with a focus on speed and accuracy

• Fast-paced, target-driven work environment

About the Role

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role in a fast-paced nursery environment.

You will:

• Perform repetitive tasks on your feet for long periods

• Work outdoors in heat, cold, and rain

• Be part of a team working to daily production and dispatch targets

• Be expected to work at pace while maintaining quality

This role suits people who enjoy practical work, staying active, and seeing tangible results.

Essential Requirements

To succeed in any of these roles, you must:

• Be physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual work

• Be willing to work in all weather conditions

• Have reliable transport and live within a reasonable commuting distance

• Be available for early starts and flexible hours, especially during peak season

• Be reliable, punctual, and consistent

• Be able to follow instructions and work efficiently at pace

What We’re Looking For

We value attitude over qualifications. The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Experience in labouring, production, farming, or nursery work (preferred but not essential)

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

• High attention to detail and quality

• Ability to work well in a team

• Good communication skills

• Willingness to learn and take direction

Highly Regarded (but not essential)

• Forklift licence (for Stock Hand roles)

• Previous experience in:

  • Nursery or horticulture work

  • Warehousing or picking/packing

  • Farm or outdoor labouring roles
