About the role

This is a key position responsible for managing the day-to-day bookkeeping, administration, and compliance functions of the business. You’ll work closely with management to keep operations running smoothly, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.

You’ll be trusted to take ownership of your areas and play a central role in keeping the business organised and on track.


Key responsibilities

  • End-to-end accounts payable and receivable

  • Payroll processing, superannuation, IAS and BAS preparation

  • Bank reconciliations and financial record keeping

  • Supplier and customer communication

  • WHS and insurance administration (including WorkCover claims and incident reporting)

  • Compliance support including SWMS, onboarding, toolbox meetings and policy documentation

  • General office administration and operational support


About you

You’re someone who thrives in a role where you can take responsibility and make things happen. You’re organised, reliable and comfortable juggling a variety of tasks in a busy small business environment.

You will bring:

  • Strong, hands-on MYOB experience (essential)

  • Solid bookkeeping and office management experience

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently and prioritise competing tasks

  • Experience with job management software (highly regarded)

  • A proactive, practical, problem-solving mindset
