About the position:

The Finance Officer plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, overseeing financial processing, reconciliations, and cost and inventory management while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity across all finance functions

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions.

• Perform bank and supplier reconciliations accurately and on time.

• Maintain financial records and ensure data integrity within MYOB and Datapel systems.

• Reconcile inventory balances and investigate discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate supplier and customer records.

• Manage vendor communications and resolve payment queries.

• Follow up outstanding payments and assist with credit control.

• Support finance and management teams with reporting and analysis.

• Provide general administrative and ad hoc finance support as required.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a Finance Officer or similar accounting support role.

• Strong reconciliation and data accuracy skills.

• Experience with MYOB (Datapel experience advantageous).

• Sound understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.

• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
