At The Geronimo Academy, we help fitness and wellness studio owners build million-dollar businesses that run without them. Over the next three years we're scaling aggressively across Australia and internationally — and we know exactly where we're headed.

We need an operator who builds the machine behind that — and actually gives a damn about why.

This is not an admin role, and it's not for someone who won't roll up their sleeves. We build in person, together — same room, same energy, solving problems face to face. Not endless meetings and project updates via email.

This is a fast, high-energy, in-person environment. If your best work only happens on mute with your camera off, this isn't your seat.

The right person wants to be where the action is. This is a seat at the table, ownership from day one, and the chance to help build the business behind the business.

About The Role

You'll work directly with the COO across every part of the business — building the systems, structure and operating rhythm that let the team execute at a high level.

Your world will span:

• AI implementation, tooling and process redesign — building the machine, not maintaining the spreadsheet

• Operational systems, workflows and SOPs that actually get used

• Project management across the initiatives that move the business

• People operations, onboarding and team support

• Event planning and delivery across workshops, retreats and client summits

• Marketing operations, CRM and automation (GHL)

• Vendor and contractor management

• Owning the operating rhythm — the reporting, the cadence, the things that keep the whole machine accountable

When you do this well: our coaches coach better, our clients get better results, our events run seamlessly, and the entire business operates at a higher level.

Who We're Looking For

You can't walk past a sloppy process. It physically bothers you.

You don't hide behind spreadsheets. You can actually talk to humans — collaborate, read a room, bring people with you.

You're the mortar between the bricks. The one who holds it together when things get messy, who picks up what no longer sits with the team or the leaders, who makes the whole thing hang together without being asked.

You take ownership before anyone hands it to you. You move fast and you finish. You'd rather solve the problem than wait for the instruction.

You're not the heads-down systems person who disappears into a process. You're the operator who builds the system and keeps the humans connected to it.

And you already live in AI. Deep.

We're AI-first. Not as a buzzword — as how we operate, at every level, starting now.

So this is a hard line, not a nice-to-have. You already have a paid Claude or ChatGPT account. You've already rebuilt parts of your own job around AI — faster, smarter, less manual. You reach for it instinctively, because doing things the old way now feels slow to you.

We're less interested in where you've come from and more interested in how you operate.

However, you do need a genuine interest in the health and fitness industry.

This is our world and it has to be yours too.

Our clients are fitness and wellness business owners. The more you understand and care about their challenges, the more successful you'll be in this role.

You may currently be:

• An Operations Manager in a growing business

• An EA or Chief of Staff with strong systems and project management experience

• An Operations & Events professional looking for broader ownership

• Someone who has built systems, processes and functions from scratch
