About the Role 

The Accounts & Payroll Officer plays a key role in keeping our finance operations running smoothly across Australia and New Zealand. This hands-on role gives you exposure to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Month-End processes, allowing you to develop a broad skill set while making a real impact on the business.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Take ownership of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring invoices are accurate, approvals are in place, and information is up-to-date in SAP Concur and NetSuite.

• Process fortnightly payroll, ensuring everyone is paid accurately and on time.

• Support staff in AU/NZ with weekly expense reimbursements and required documentation.

• Maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers, helping resolve overdue accounts efficiently.

• Assist with month-end journal entries and other reporting tasks.

• Monitor and manage the shared accounts mailbox, responding to queries promptly.

• Take on ad hoc requests from the Finance Manager and provide backup support for other team members as needed.

Qualifications 

• Suitable experience and knowledge to perform the functions, responsibilities, and tasks effectively and efficiently. 

• Strong numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to quickly learn new information, processes, and procedures

• Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner

• Exposure to Netsuite, SAP Concur and Payroll Systems (highly regarded)

• Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products
