About Us
We are a growing electrical services business seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer & Operations Coordinator to become an integral part of our team.
This role is primarily work from home, with occasional attendance required for training, team meetings, or other business-related activities.
You will act as the central point of coordination between customers, technicians, suppliers and management, helping ensure our operations run smoothly while delivering exceptional customer service.
About the Role
As our Customer & Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting both our customers and field team.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Managing incoming customer enquiries via phone and email
· Scheduling and coordinating jobs using our job management software
· Liaising with customers regarding appointments, updates, documentation and job progress
· Monitoring and responding to incoming emails
· Supporting technicians with administrative and operational requests while they are working on-site
· Organising equipment hire, suppliers, deliveries and other resources as required
· Processing customer payments and maintaining accurate records
· Assisting with company administration, licences, insurances and compliance requirements
· Following up outstanding information and ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner
· Assisting management with operational, administrative and customer service tasks as required
· Maintaining a high standard of customer service across all areas of the business

While training and support will be provided, we’re looking for someone with strong judgement who can assess situations, prioritise tasks and make informed decisions without needing detailed instructions for every task.
You won’t be expected to know everything from day one, but you will be expected to think independently, communicate confidently and proactively find solutions when challenges arise.

Experience
Experience in any of the following areas would be highly regarded:
· Customer service
· Service coordination
· Scheduling or dispatching
· Trades, construction, maintenance or electrical industries
· Business administration
· Operations support
· Field service environments
