About the Role
As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the accounts payable function while acting as the first point of contact for visitors and incoming telephone enquiries. This is a varied role that combines accounts payable, administration, and office coordination responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
Perform supplier statement reconciliations and statement checks
Match purchase order invoices to receipts and supporting documentation
Process and enter GL-coded invoices into the Sage accounting system
Assist with accounts payable administration and record management
Follow up outstanding invoices, approvals, and supplier queries
Maintain accurate filing and documentation systems
Administration & Office Support
Act as the first point of contact for reception visitors and incoming phone calls
Provide professional and courteous customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier requirements
Coordinate office stationery and supplies, including inventory management and ordering
Assist with office housekeeping and general workplace presentation
Organise catering for meetings, training sessions, functions, and company events
Administer Motorpass, Linkt, E-Tag and related company accounts
Provide general administration support to the Finance team and broader business as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance Administration role
Minimum of 2+ years experience in accounts payable or finance administration
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Professional presentation and a confident, friendly telephone manner
Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
Sound data entry and administration capabilities
Ability to prioritise tasks and effectively follow up outstanding matters
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
Experience using Sage or similar ERP/accounting systems will be highly regarded
Must be an Australian permanent resident with full work rights
