Finance Manager - Commercial Finance Leadership Opportunity

A well-established Australian consumer business is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to partner closely with senior leadership and play a key role in driving business performance, profitability and growth. This is an opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional who enjoys operating at both a strategic and hands-on level. You'll work across a dynamic, multi-channel environment, providing financial leadership, actionable insights and strong governance to support informed decision-making.

Working alongside operational, commercial and executive stakeholders, you will help shape business outcomes through robust financial analysis, effective cash management and a focus on continuous improvement.

The Opportunity This role offers broad exposure across financial management, commercial analysis and strategic business partnering. You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting business performance initiatives and providing visibility across revenue, margin, cash flow and operational drivers.

• Leading month-end and year-end reporting activities
• Delivering meaningful financial and commercial insights to leadership teams
• Monitoring and improving business performance through sales, margin and profitability analysis
• Managing cash flow forecasting and working capital performance
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes
• Strengthening financial controls, reporting frameworks and governance practices
• Partnering with operational and commercial teams to identify opportunities and manage risk
• Supporting external audits and strategic business initiatives as required

About You

You are a commercially minded finance leader with strong analytical capability and a genuine interest in understanding what drives business performance.

To be successful, you will bring:

• CA or CPA qualification
• Proven experience in finance leadership, commercial finance or financial control roles
• Experience within retail, e-commerce, FMCG, consumer products or similar fast-paced environments
• Strong financial reporting, forecasting and business partnering skills
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
• Experience working with ERP systems and business intelligence tools
• The ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and practical way
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative approach
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
