Chef De Partie

The Role

The Chef de Partie will support the Sous Chefs in the daily management of the kitchen operations by ensuring the smooth running of specific sections of the kitchen without supervision. This role will primarily be in our Banquets and Production Kitchen, with the opportunity to work across other Kitchens. You will be hands-on in the supervision, training, development and coordination of the kitchen brigade as well as effective communication and liaison with other departments.

Successful candidates will have:

• Previous Kitchen experience preferably within a luxury hotel environment

• Experience in a range of different cooking styles and preparation techniques is essential

• Exceptional communication, organizational and time management skills

• Extensive food knowledge and passion for quality and consistency

• The ability to perform in a fast-paced environment

• The ability to remain calm under pressure when responding to last minute changes

• Must also be available to work a rotating roster, including nights and weekends

• Citizenship, permanent residence or approved working rights in Australia
