Automotive Technician -Full Time- MANAGER POSITION

We are looking for a highly skilled, fully qualified Automotive Technician to step into a key role within our business and take ownership of workshop management and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (NO WEEKEND WORK)

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily workshop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely job completion

• Supervise, lead, and support a team of technicians and apprentices

• Allocate work based on skills, workload, and priority

• Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality control, and safety

• Diagnose and assist with complex mechanical issues when required

• Log-book Servicing, minor and major services

• Manage parts inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships

• Prepare and approve repair estimates, quotes, and invoice

• Handle customer enquiries, concerns, and service updates professionally

Qualifications:

• Fully qualified Automotive Mechanic (Australian recognized certificate ONLY).

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician

• Strong problem solving and communication skills

• Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in vehicles

• MUST have Manual license

• Own tools

• Confident communicator with a customer-first attitude

• Demonstrates the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.

• Experience with Subaru and Toyota (desirable not a must)

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a qualified mechanic is required
