At Woof We Go, we don't just walk dogs.

We spend our days exploring parks, building relationships with incredible dogs, creating enriching social experiences and giving busy pet parents peace of mind knowing their furry family members are in the very best hands.

We're a long-established boutique dog walking business based in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs offering group dog walks of various breeds and sizes. We're looking for an energetic, reliable, positive and dog-obsessed person to join our small supportive team.

This position would be particularly suited to someone with experience working with dogs, animal care or dog behaviour, and may be ideal for a Vet Nurse looking for a refreshing career change.

If you'd rather be outdoors than behind a desk, genuinely love working with animals and enjoy being active, this could be the perfect role for you.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

What you'll be doing:

• Driving around to collect and return dogs safely to and from the park (Vehicle Provided)
• Leading supervised group walks with dogs of various breeds, sizes and personalities
• Monitoring behaviour and ensuring the safety of all dogs in your care
• Building positive relationships with both dogs and their owners
• Taking photos and videos of adventures for owners and social media
• Providing exceptional customer service and communication to clients and general public
• Reporting on outings and any behavioural or health observations

The details:

• Monday to Friday (availability across all five days is essential)
• Approximately 7:30am – 3:30pm
• Eastern Suburbs based
• Available to start ASAP

This role is incredibly rewarding, but it's also physically active and requires mental alertness. With a combination of driving or being outdoors on your feet for most of the day, in all weather conditions, managing multiple dogs and working independently, so reliability, confidence and good judgement are essential.

What we're looking for:

• Confident handling dogs of all breeds and sizes
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors year-round
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
• Genuine interest in dog behaviour and wellbeing
• Full Australian driver's licence with a good driving record
• Available for long-term employment
• NSW Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Australian working rights

Applicants with previous experience in a similar role, working with dogs and/or dog training experience will be highly regarded, however not essential.

Most importantly, you must genuinely love dogs and understand that every dog in our care is a much-loved family member.
