We pride ourselves on professionalism, attention to detail, and a collaborative team culture. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team at our Sydney Olympic Park Head Office.

About the Role

Reporting to the Accountant, you will assist with the day-to-day financial operations of the business and support the finance team across a range of accounting and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

• Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance

• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting and closing processes

• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation

• Support payroll administration and related reconciliation

• Process employee expense claims and reimbursement

• Assist with compliance-related tasks

• Liaise with internal departments and external parties to resolve financial queries

• Assist the accounting team with ad-hoc tasks as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

• 1-2 years' experience in accounting or finance role

• Experience using accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar

• Experience using ERP systems, preferably Cheops.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
