Contract Administrator

ASSEMBLE have been engaged to recruit a Contracts Administrator for a Gold Coast grown Tier 1 Developer-Builder that has been building luxury high-rise projects on the Gold Coast for the last 10 years.

The project is a large high-rise project based in the Broadbeach area and is currently at piling stage and is due to start the dig in the coming weeks.

You will work with a very experienced team that has just come over from their latest high-rise project which has just been handed over. This project team has two talented Senior CAs who excel at their work. Most of their team comes from the likes of Multiplex & Hutchinson Builders.

This is a hybrid role, split between the site and their centrally located office.

The role offers a balance of support and autonomy, allowing you to take ownership of key responsibilities while continuing to develop your technical and commercial skillset.

What is on offer?

Remuneration is negotiable based on the individual's experience. Depending on whether the individual stepping into the role is intermediate with a few years of experience or more experienced and close to becoming a senior, the salary range is $150k to $200k + Super.

You will be working with one of the most talented and experienced construction teams on the coast where you will be supported and learn from the best.

Responsibilities

• Assist with subcontractor procurement and tender processes

• Prepare trade packages, scopes of work and subcontract documentation

• Support project cost reporting and forecasting

• Manage subcontractor progress claims and payment processes

• Maintain accurate contract and project documentation

• Assist with project coordination and administration

• Collaborate with their Project Managers, Site Teams, Consultants and Subcontractors

You will have:

• A degree qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar

• CA with current experience with medium rise / high rise projects

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
