Accountant

Regional Corporate Services is offering the opportunity for an Accountant to join our existing finance team to work with a group of privately owned companies in a diverse range of industries.

As part of a friendly team, this role is a full function finance role with room for growth, offering variety and scope of tasks including:

• Full function of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables

• Investment portfolio reporting

• Preparing various statutory obligations such as BAS / IAS

• Duties as required leading to end of month processing

• Preparing monthly financials for various entities within the Group

• Liaise with external tax advisors, providing assurance about the accuracy of the information in the financial reports

• Other general accounting & administrative functions as required

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• A relevant Bachelor's degree

• 3+ years experience in general accounting and administrative duties

• Professional presentation and interpersonal skills

• Ideally looking to gain CA / CPA status

• Excellent telephone / communication skills

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

• Good sense of initiative and attention to detail, a can-do attitude

• Ability to work with limited supervision

• Willingness to help out wherever possible

• Valid Australian work visa required
