Club Manager

Fullshare Group Australia is a muti-national group with its head office in China, public listed in Hong Kong stock exchange market with operations in renewable energy equipment; tourism; healthcare and real estate. Under the tourism umbrella, the group has accumulated a number of a prestigious seaside resort in Australia Queensland, namely Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Port Douglas and Mirage Country Club; Mirage Whitsundays and Laguna Quays.

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Club Manager to join the Mirage Country Club at Port Douglas.  This is an ideal role for someone who is willing to bring their vibrancy, passion and eagerness to promote our brand.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Director, in this role you will lead and manage all aspects of the business operations and drive the business to achieve approved budget and increase revenue. You will be responsible for club operations and promotion; staff management; coordination of refurbishment projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement business plans & budget

• Management of all functions of the business, work closely with the Head Office

• Control monthly expenditures of the business and ensure all costs are in-line with the budget

• Oversee the rosters, review payroll cost and evaluate wages to service levels

• Staff management, support the company policies and identify training gaps

• Work closely with HR department for any staffing issues

• Develop marketing strategies to promote the products & facilities at the club

• Work closely with Project team for the club refurbishment

The Ideal candidate will have:

• At least 10 years relevant management experience, ideally in Golf Club or Hospitality Industry

• Ability to set strategic goals and problem resolution

• Service focus with passion to deliver outstanding customer service

• Promote positive team culture and motive the team

• Great interpersonal and communication skills

• Demonstrate strong financial management experience and marketing skills
