IT Support Engineer

We are currently seeking an IT Support Engineer based in our Port Melbourne office. You will be working in a small IT Team, and your key responsibilities will include:

End User Services & Support

• Take full ownership of incidents and service requests, driving timely resolution and coordinating escalation to third-party support as needed

• Provide onsite and remote IT support across end-user devices and systems

• Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, software, and systems

• Diagnose and resolve issues across end-user devices including PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and printers

• Troubleshoot network, connectivity, telephony, and infrastructure issues

• Manage user accounts, user profiles, system access, and permissions

• Manage onboarding and offboarding, including identity setup and asset provisioning and recovery

Systems, Security & IT Operations

• Perform system testing and validation following infrastructure changes

• Ensure device compliance using Intune, CrowdStrike, or similar tools

• Support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and email security platforms

• Support SharePoint, intranet, and website platforms

• Maintain IT asset registry and lifecycle tracking

• Support internal systems and third-party applications

• Maintain IT documentation and contribute to the knowledge base

• Assist with process improvements and basic automation

Skills & Experience

• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience supporting IT hardware and end-user devices

• Experience supporting Microsoft environments including Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint), Entra ID, Active Directory, Windows Server, Windows 11 endpoints, and cloud services

• Experience supporting mobile device management platforms (Intune, iOS, NinjaOne)

• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including LAN, wireless, and VPN

• Familiarity with website CMS and basic scripting or automation skills (e.g. PowerApps)
