Are you a passionate hotel leader who thrives on creating exceptional guest experiences while building high-performing teams? We're looking for an experienced Hotel Manager to take the helm of a well-established hotel in Sydney's Hills District.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded and hands-on hospitality professional who enjoys being visible on the floor, empowering people, driving performance, and making a genuine impact on both guests and employees.

About the Role

As Hotel Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the property, leading the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance teams while working closely with corporate support functions and key stakeholders.

You'll be responsible for delivering operational excellence, maximising financial performance, enhancing the guest journey, and fostering a positive workplace culture where people can thrive.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team through coaching, mentoring, and hands-on leadership.

  • Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure exceptional service and efficient performance.

  • Drive financial results through budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue initiatives.

  • Champion guest satisfaction by resolving issues, analysing feedback, and creating memorable experiences.

  • Build strong local relationships to generate new business and strengthen the hotel's presence in the community.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Revenue teams to maximise occupancy and profitability.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing, and workplace obligations.

  • Manage contracts, preventative maintenance programs, and operational risk.

  • Drive innovation, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement across the property.

About You

You are an experienced hospitality leader who combines commercial acumen with a genuine passion for people.

You'll ideally bring:

  • 2+ years' experience in a Hotel Manager or senior operations leadership role.

  • Proven success managing Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance teams.

  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

  • A track record of improving guest satisfaction and leading service recovery.

  • Experience mentoring and developing teams to achieve outstanding results.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to analyse performance data and implement improvements.

  • A visible, hands-on leadership style and a commitment to operational excellence.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality, Business, or a related field (desirable but not essential).
