Senior Financial Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Lead revenue accrual analysis and reporting across multiple funding streams and clients.
• Assist with month-end close processes, including reconciliations, journals and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cashflow reports.
• Support grant and funding accounting, including acquittals and compliance reporting.
• Develop and maintain cashflow forecasts.
• Manage statutory reporting obligations including BAS, FBT, ABS reporting, WorkCover and Portable Long Service Leave requirements.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Support treasury activities and cash management processes

About You 

• CA or CPA qualification
• Strong experience with month-end reporting, reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience within not-for-profit, healthcare, community services, government-funded, or similarly complex environments will be highly regarded.
• Exposure to TechnologyOne and/or Power BI will be advantageous.
